The 2008 New York Times Company
Nonprofit Excellence Awards

We are delighted to announce the second annual Nonprofit Excellence Awards, presented by The New York Times Community Affairs Department, the Nonprofit Coordinating Committee of New York, and the New York Regional Association of Grantmakers. We invite all 501(c)(3) nonprofits in the New York City area to apply. The application deadline is November 30, 2007.

The Awards recognize management excellence and encourage innovation and communication among New York's large and diverse nonprofit community. This is your opportunity to tell all New Yorkers - and the world - how your management practices enhances your mission.

Winners will be honored at a special Awards Presentation in June, 2008, with cash awards, scholarships to attend the Institute for Not-for-Profit Management at Columbia Business School Executive Education, and a chance to showcase excellent management strategies in a Best Practices Workshop.

The guidelines and applications will soon be available at www.nytimes-community.com.

If your organization is interested in applying and would like additional information about the application process, register online for one of two Application Clinics:

Tuesday, October 16, 9:30-11am:
