Application Procedure
Please Note: For 2010, the Foundation will not consider new requests. Grants will be made to organizations that are already Noyes grantees. This policy only affects the 2010 grantmaking cycle. A decision about the 2011 grants budget will be made in mid-2010.
The Foundation accepts letters of inquiry through an Internet Application Form.
The first step is to complete the funding quiz. If after completing the quiz your request is eligible for funding consideration, you will be directed to an Internet Application Form.
Note: If you wish to complete an online form you have already started, please click here.
Proposals should be submitted to the Foundation only upon request. Proposals are to be submitted via the Internet Application Form. Since the Foundation receives more requests than it can fund, you should not interpret a request for a proposal as an indication of likely support.
We may request additional information from applicants and consult with persons knowledgeable about the organization and/or the proposed activities. As part of the review process, we will meet with the applicant preferably at its location or in New York City. Final decisions on grants are made by the Foundation’s Board of Directors, which meets three times a year (spring, summer and fall).
